When York compressors became the go to option for on board air 15 years ago they were an affordable option scrounged from the local pick ur part and used a plethora of brass or steel piping to plumb the system. Often the under hood area looked more like a plumbing truck exploded. Over time customers asked for better fitted, and longer lasting components. This led to complete kits designed to deliver the best reliability, cleaner installs, and better fittings. This level of quality parts pushed the price point out of reach for many people.
OffRoadOnly has continued to work towards delivering the best systems at the best price we can. The York compressors we currently offer have proven to not only be reliable but also shown to introduce so little oil into the air system that we have decided to reinvent the package. After two years of testing we introduce the York Mini On Board Air Kit.
The best part is most applications will be just under $1000.
The York Mini On Board Air kit is still a 10 cfm heavy duty york compressor, however now it is designed to specifically compress air. There are less parts and filters involved because the compressor pushes less oil. That means we can pass the savings on to you, the customer, while still delivering the best performing highest quality system on the market.
Our objective with these York Mini On Board Air kits is to offer a system to deliver high air flow with minimal components. Designed specifically for airing tires, this kit does not contain an air tank. This allows 100% of the air flow being generated to inflate the tire, not the tire and an air tank. The result, quicker inflation times. The manifold and mounting bracket can either be mounted in the locations we designed for them or it may be positioned wherever the 6 foot long stainless steel braided ½ inch Teflon hose will reach from the compressor. A pressure switch and pressure relief valve allow you to simply engage the system and then the system will turn the compressor on when the line pressure drops below 110PSI and turns off at 150PSI. The kit will come with a diagram to show the recommended assembly of the manifold and components or the installer may adjust to suit their needs.
Some applications would be better with a tank. Running ARB lockers or a SwayLOC swaybar, having a tank will result in longer time between compressor cycles. For these applications we offer the Mini Tank Kit. This is exactly as it sounds, a 1 gallon aluminum tank, and the fittings to tie into a spare port in the manifold and the line to run it to the tank.
And finally, we offer a regulator kit. Designed to be added to the tank and provide a filter and moisture trap, along with a regulator to provide a clean air output with adjustable pressure up to 125psi. The idea behind this kit is the parts required to utilize this air supply for our AiROCK air suspension system.
